Sacré-Cœur, Paris

DSC_0178raw1_18752Such a magical place to visit early in the morning!

Le Sacre du coeur is situated  at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city. Designed by Paul Abadie, its construction began in 1875 and was finished in 1914. It was consecrated after the end of World War I in 1919.  Despite I’ve been in Paris for several times, It has been my first visit to the basilique. I had the chance to enyojed it with a warm and sunny weather early in the morning when the tourists hadnt come yet. Also we had a very special photoshoot there… I can’t wait to show you more about this! Have you ever been in this beautiful place?

You’re comment makes me miss Paris. My last day in Paris was also spent in Sacré-Cœur and I had such a lovely time there. Did you go and see those talented artists working there? Btw there was a crepe place at the bottom of the stairs towards the metro side, not exactly sure what it was called but it certainly was tasty!
